Choux-valiers - Character Design

Choux-valiers is my graduation short film taking place in Versailles, and it’s historical setting requested some researches regarding historical costumes.

I tried to keep in mind the personality of the characters so that it could be translated well in their outfits and designs.

It is important to mention that our biggest inspiration for the overall designs is the Netflix movie « Nimona » (2023) with its geometric shapes and big eyes as we found it would fit our protagonists perfectly.
